“Hydrochloride Monohydrate”. It is categorized as a “neurotransmitter reuptake
inhibitor” and is used in cases where extreme weight loss is needed. It works by
blocking the nerve cells in the brain that reabsorb Serotonin, Norepinephrine
and Dopamine. Serotonin is the chemical in the brain that regulates hunger pains
and makes the stomach feel full. By prohibiting the reabsorb Serotonin the
stomach feels full longer which decreases the amount of food that is consumed.
